Kailee Puetz
Hey, Coach Kailee here!
I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to coach at this AMAZING facility! Fitness has taken me on quite a journey, and ending up at CrossFit Casual feels like pure luck. Here’s a little about how I got here!
I am originally from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and after graduating high school, I accepted an offer to swim competitively for the University of New Mexico. Earning the chance to compete at the Division I level had been my goal throughout my 13 years of swimming, so it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.
A few years later, the pandemic put my swimming career on hold. The pools closed, training stopped…but you know what stayed open? CrossFit! What started as a way to stay in shape quickly became my new passion, with the goal of returning to the pool stronger than ever.
And ever since then, I’ve been hooked!
I’m currently finishing my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and will graduate in December 2026. My goal is to combine my love of fitness and healthcare by helping people move better, get stronger, and improve their quality of life for years to come. I know how life-changing fitness can be, especially when you have a community you love to grow (and suffer) with, so I’m incredibly grateful to be on that journey with all of you.
When I’m not schooling or finessing, you can catch me in the mountains doing various things like riding dirtbikes (my dirtbike is secretly the loml), mountain bikes, hiking, and swimming in any body of water I can find. Outside>inside!
I also love to nerd out about biomechanics, muscle function, and proper movement (sorry in advance!), so don’t be surprised if you leave class having learned a little more about your body along with getting a great workout. Whether your goal is your first pull-up, your next competition, or simply feeling healthier, I can’t wait to help you get there. Come say hi, share your goals with me, and let’s make them happen…together. See you in the gym!
